Investment strategy

Three pillars. Six jurisdictions.

One approach: own productive assets and stay close to them. AssetPeak invests across three areas of the real economy — real estate, cocoa and vineyards. The businesses are different. The investment principle is not. We look for assets with a physical presence, an economic purpose and the potential to generate value through active ownership and management. We don't simply acquire and wait. We build. We operate. We manage. We hold.

Pillar I

REAL ESTATE: Residential · Hospitality · Industrial

Our real-estate strategy covers the full life of an asset — from development and construction through to management and income generation. Across Dubai and Bangkok, we develop and manage selected residential, hospitality and industrial properties, with operations designed around the characteristics of each asset and market. Residential properties may generate income through rentals. Commercial and industrial assets may generate income through leases. Hospitality assets generate revenue through their operations. Where AssetPeak manages a directly acquired property, the owner retains ownership while we handle the agreed management responsibilities. Develop. Operate. Manage.

Pillar II

COCOA: Production · Agriculture · Export

Cocoa is a productive agricultural asset with an established place in the global food and confectionery industry. Our cocoa activities are focused primarily on production and export, with operations in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire, two of the world's major cocoa-producing markets. The strategy is not simply to hold agricultural land. It is to participate in the productive chain — from cultivation and agricultural operations through to getting the crop into international markets. Grow. Harvest. Export.

Pillar III

VINEYARDS: Vineyard Assets · Wine Production · Export

Our vineyard strategy extends beyond owning land. In Maipo, Chile, and Mendoza, Argentina, we focus on vineyard assets and the production and export of wine. The underlying land provides the foundation. The vineyard provides the crop. The winery turns that crop into a finished product that can be sold into international markets. Selected estates may also support hospitality activities, creating an additional operating dimension around the vineyard. Cultivate. Produce. Export.

THE STRATEGY

Different assets. One discipline.

We don't choose assets simply because they belong to a particular category. We ask more practical questions: Can we understand the asset? Can we manage it properly? Does it have a real economic purpose? Can it generate income or productive output? Can we hold it for the long term? And perhaps most importantly: Would we be comfortable putting our own name behind it? That is the discipline behind the three pillars.
HOW WE INVEST

Built for ownership, not trading.

AssetPeak takes a long-term approach to its underlying assets. Real estate takes time to develop, occupy and operate. Agricultural assets follow growing cycles. Vineyards require years of cultivation and production. We therefore do not build the strategy around short-term trading. We focus on acquisition, development, operations, income and long-term asset value. The objective is not to constantly move capital from one opportunity to another. It is to build a portfolio of productive assets and manage them properly over time.
DIVERSIFICATION

Three pillars. One Fund.

The AssetPeak Capital Fund brings exposure to all three pillars through a single diversified, audited fund. Real estate provides exposure to property and operating businesses. Cocoa provides exposure to agricultural production and international commodity markets. Vineyards provide exposure to agricultural land, wine production and export. The businesses do not depend on one another to operate. That matters. A property portfolio has its own operating cycle. A cocoa harvest has its own. A wine producer has its own. The diversification comes from owning different productive activities — while keeping them within a strategy we understand.
ACTIVE OWNERSHIP

We don't outsource the thinking.

AssetPeak's role does not end with an acquisition. Our approach is to remain involved in the assets we manage — overseeing development, operations, maintenance, income generation and the decisions that determine how an asset performs. For direct-acquisition investors, AssetPeak management is available where applicable, but it is not compulsory. The investor can choose to retain control and manage the asset independently. For Fund investors, the Fund structure provides exposure to the three pillars without requiring the investor to manage individual properties, agricultural operations or vineyards themselves.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR

Physical. Productive. Understandable.

Before an asset becomes part of the strategy, we look for three things.

01 — A real asset
Something that exists beyond a valuation on a screen — a property, agricultural operation, vineyard or other tangible asset.

02 — A productive purpose
An asset should do something. It should house people, accommodate businesses, host guests, produce crops, produce wine or otherwise participate in a functioning economic activity.

03 — A reason to hold it
We are not interested in acquiring an asset simply because it can be sold for more tomorrow. We look for assets that make sense to own over a longer period and where careful management can contribute to their performance.

THE ASSETPEAK DIFFERENCE

We stay close to what we own.

We stay close to what we own. This is ultimately what ties the strategy together. We don't want an investment portfolio that exists only as numbers on a screen. We want to know the building. We want to understand the operation. We want to know the land. We want to know how the income is generated. And we want our investors to be able to see it too.
