The firm

We only invest in things you can walk through.

AssetPeak Capital was founded in 2004 around a simple idea: Wealth should have something real behind it. Not everything valuable has to be physical. But we believe some of the strongest long-term investments are built on assets that occupy real space, serve a real purpose and can produce real economic value. A building. A vineyard. A cocoa operation. Land that is being developed, cultivated, managed and put to work. That principle still shapes how we invest today.

Our belief

Own what has a purpose.

Markets change. Prices move. Technology changes what can be bought, sold and valued in seconds. Real assets work differently. A building has to be built and maintained. A property has to be occupied. A vineyard has to be cultivated. Cocoa has to be grown, harvested and brought to market. The real work is what happens after the acquisition. That is why AssetPeak is not built around simply buying assets and waiting for their value to rise. We acquire, develop, operate and manage.

Our focus is on businesses and assets where active management can create and preserve value over the long term.

Since 2004

Built around real assets. Still building.

AssetPeak Capital was founded in 2004 by three friends; Markus Keller (Managing partner), Karim Al-Haddad (Chairman), Isabelle Morel (Chief Investments Officer) More than two decades later, the principle behind the firm remains remarkably simple:

Invest in things with substance. Know what you own. Stay close to the underlying asset. Build for the long term.

Our approach

Three pillars. One investment philosophy.

AssetPeak operates across three real-asset pillars:

01 — Real Estate

We develop and manage residential, hospitality and industrial properties in selected markets, with income generated through rentals, leases and operating businesses.

02 — Cocoa

We operate within established cocoa-producing regions, with a focus on production, sourcing and export to international markets.

03 — Vineyards

We invest in vineyard assets and wine production in established wine-producing regions, combining the underlying value of the land with the production and export of wine.

They are different businesses.

But the principle is the same:

Acquire well. Operate properly. Manage actively. Hold for the long term.
One fund

Diversification without losing sight of what you own.

The AssetPeak Capital Fund brings the three pillars together within a single diversified investment structure. Rather than asking an investor to choose between property, agriculture or vineyards, the Fund provides exposure across all three. The idea is straightforward: diversification should not mean owning things you cannot understand. It should mean owning different types of productive assets, operated by people who understand how those assets work. For investors who want direct ownership instead, AssetPeak also provides a separate route to acquire qualifying assets directly in their own name.

Two routes. One philosophy.
The way we work

We don't just acquire. We stay involved.

AssetPeak is built around ownership that requires participation. We look beyond the acquisition itself — to development, operations, management, income generation and the long-term condition of the underlying asset. That means our work does not end when a transaction closes. A property needs to be managed. Agricultural production needs to be maintained. Wine needs to be produced and brought to market. Assets need people behind them.

We build. We operate. We manage. We invest.

See what stands behind your investment

Visit what you own.

We believe an investor should be able to understand what stands behind their investment. Not just a number on a statement. Not just a valuation on a screen. Where appropriate, investors can visit the properties and operations behind AssetPeak's investment activities and see the businesses for themselves. Fund investors can request investor visits in accordance with the applicable programme. Direct-acquisition investors can also visit and, following acquisition, take possession of the relevant ownership documentation in person. Because we believe there is a difference between knowing what something is worth and knowing what it is.

How we work

Three offices. One team.

Small by design. Everyone who manages an asset has stood on it.

Dubai — headquarters

The DIFC office holds the residential mandate and the firm’s treasury function. Investor relations sit here.

Zurich — origin

Where the firm began, and where the agricultural economics team still works.

Bangkok — Asia

Construction oversight and letting for the Thai residential portfolio.

Audited annually

Fund accounts are audited and the reports are published to the investor portal. Ask us for the most recent one.

Unencumbered title

Zero leverage on land assets. The portfolio cannot be margin-called and the soil cannot be foreclosed.

You may visit

Every investor is invited to see the assets in person, once a year, for as long as they hold them.
